Getting To Canmore by Car or Transfer

Discover our charming resort hotel situated on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies in Canmore, just 88 kilometers (55 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta, and minutes from Banff National Park’s east gate. Enjoy a scenic drive from Calgary’s western city limit, taking approximately one hour via the Trans-Canada Highway #1. If you’re arriving from Calgary International Airport, the journey is conveniently 1.5 hours. By Car

Start your adventure at Calgary International Airport. Exit the airport and merge onto AB-2 South, following signs for Calgary. After 3km, connect to Stoney Trail/AB-201 West and continue for about 20km, then merge onto the Trans-Canada Highway/AB-1 West and follow signs for Banff. Look for the first exit for Canmore/1A, turn right onto the 1A and continue for around 1km. Turn right onto Lincoln Park and Stoneridge Mountain Resort will be on your left.

  As a part of our 40th Anniversary Trip to the Canadian Rockies, my wife and I planned four nights in Canmore. After looking over the options I chose Stoneridge for its positive ratings and reviews. I must say, we were NOT disappointed! Starting with Tim (who redefined excellent customer service!) and Eddie, our stay was fantastic. When we entered the room for the first time there was a bottle of champagne chilling with two glasses and a card. So thoughtful! The room was amazing (although I would love to figure out how to get a balcony with a mountain view 😉), and the in-room washer and dryer was a big help after two weeks of driving. Oh, the 4-star rating for location is just due to the fact that it's not right downtown. If you're willing to hoof it there is a beautiful trail with partial boardwalk that will get you downtown in a mile. No need to try and find a place to park.   Es ist ein schönes Appartement.  Für 2 bis 3 Personen ausreichend.  Es ist alles drin, was man gebrauchen kann.  Waschmaschine und Trockner,  eine komplett eingerichtete Küche,  mit Herd, Backofen Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine,  großer Kühl- und Gefrierschrank und Spülmaschiene.
Großer Fernseher und ein kleiner Balkon oder Terrasse mit Grill.
