Our stand alone, purpose-built restaurant/pub features the finest amenities, such as two patios, 13 televisions, four private rooms, and the views are spectacular. The Iron Goat name is inspired by Canmore’s rich railway heritage. One memorable train engine, built in 1905 for the C.P.R., was sold to Canmore Mines Ltd. in 1943 and hauled coal until it was finally retired to Calgary’s Heritage Park in 1963. It was affectionately called “The Iron Goat.” Join friends for a drink and a meal at The Iron Goat in Canmore. Historically inspired, deliciously different!

Zona’s Late Night Bistro is the restaurant that brought the world of food to Canmore. Menus are ever-changing and always exciting. Recommended in “Where To Eat In Canmore” for the past seven years. Built around an old log cabin remodeled from Canmore’s coal mining days, retaining that welcoming, homey feel. The pottery is handmade by owner/artist Chris Dmytriw, as is all the art on the walls. Zona’s is a local treasure. It’s small and cozy with oodles of character. One block west of Main Street. Stop in for Zona’s after-hours nightlife.
